SDR-LW 2972-24/44 is the latest product developed by Wuhan Luowave SDR based on the classic radio equipment SDR-LW 2972. The transmit and receive frequency are uplifted to 24GHz/44 GHz, while inheriting all the functions and advantages of the Original 2972.
Product introduction
SDR-LW 2972-24/44 adopts the design that the RF front end is integrated in the AD9361. The AD9361 can directly supports the up and down conversion of the frequency on the RF end, and can provide a bandwidth of 56MHz in real time. And the AD9361's two-way signal link is used to provide coherent MIMO capability. The host computer is able to perform signal processing and controlling on the AD9361 by implementing a series of operations on the FPGA of the model Spartan6 XC6SLX150 through USB 3.0 port. The SDR-LW 2972-24/44 provides a maximum throughput of 61.44MS /s. The device uses an open source cross-platform UHD driver, and UHD supports most applications and SDR frameworks, such as GNU Radio, Matlab, and Lab View.

As the digital processing core of the SDR-LW 2972 - 24/44,the Spartan 6 XC6SLX150 provides direct high-speed connectivity to all major components, including the RF front end, host interface and DDR3 memory. The default FPGA provides all UHD's for digital down-conversion and digital up-conversion, fine frequency tuning and some other DSP functional blocks. Users can develop and implement their own DSP processing modules by using the abundant FPGA spare space and the development framework supported by USRP.
